Smoke Opacity Test: For vehicles registered in or out of state, 2012 or older. Older trucks must submit smoke opacity test results twice a year under the program. Motorhomes and agriculturally registered vehicles must report annually.  Opacity testing verifies that the amount of particulate coming out of the smoke stake or tailpipe meets the standard set by CARB, based on the year of the vehicle.
OBD HD/IM Testing is for all trucks, motorhomes and agricultural vehicles that are 2013 and newer. Our certified technicians will connect CARB-approved equipment to your vehicle and upload data to CARB. We will give you a copy of your certification and complete your paperwork with CARB.
